Another reason elections matter

Via Captain’s Quarters, Bush has nominated more judges. Or rather, re-nominated them. Nice reminder to the American people that the consequences of this mid-term election is more than just sending a message. Judges stick around a long time and have major effects decades after the presidency.

One negative example of this is the lady who just tried shooting down our surveillance program. Carter appointee.

It’s tempting to sit out the vote this fall. The GOP isn’t conservative enough for this think tanker. But elections still matter.
