Sobek has the latest. Looks like the Israelis are going out of their way not to kill anyone they don’t have to, but aren’t letting up on the offensive.
Breitbart reports that peace is looking better and better to Hamas. They’re offering the release of Cpl. Shalitt with some conditions, via Egypt. My guess is that the Israeli incursion is doing a LOT more damage to the terrorist group than is being reported.
“We are at the edge of a cliff here, and I would urge the Palestinian leadership to release Cpl. Shalit,” (Mark)Regev (Israeli Foreign Minister) said. Israel doesn’t seem terribly interested in negotiating conditions of his release. I can see their point.
