For the History Buff

Bill Lamin, an IT teacher in England, recently began bringing his family’s history into the digital age. After recently discovering his grandfather’s letters home from the trenches of World War I France he began posting them online in the form of a blog. His goal is to post each letter as close as possible to the date it was actually written giving us a fascinating first person account of war ninety years ago. Additionally, he refuses to reveal what actually happened to his grandfather leaving us all to wait and see. For those of you who enjoy the first person approach to history, you might want to check out this site full of first person accounts, videos, and audio clips from throughout history.
